Jiggler keeps your laptop awake while it is running with active access and your chosen settings allow it. You can still put the laptop to sleep yourself. It does not guarantee operation with the lid closed or a particular availability status in apps such as Teams.
The Mac app is Developer ID signed and notarized. The current Windows release uses a Xidents self-signed certificate, which does not provide public publisher trust; Windows may show a warning or block it. Read the installation guidance and follow your organisation’s software policy.
