Start with something useful
Choose an ingredient before converting cups to grams. Labelled US, Imperial and metric measures help you use the right cup.
Ingredient estimates vary with packing. Convert individual amounts; whole recipes are not imported.
Change a starting balance, regular deposits and interest rate. The chart separates your contributions from interest.
Projections exclude fees, tax and inflation.

Made for the way you work
A price changes or you spot a typo. Tap into your expression, edit just that number and see the answer update. Keep the rest of your working, with Undo there when you need it.
Save a calculation with a note such as “Weekend project materials”. Pin it for later, find it by its note, and reopen the expression when the figures change. A compact recent-history strip provides quick access when space allows.
Add two work sessions or total a few tasks. Enter hours, minutes and seconds directly instead of converting them to decimals first.

When you need to go further
Switch between Basic, Scientific, Time and Bases. Use BIN, OCT, DEC and HEX with bit operations and a choice of 8, 16, 32 or 64 bits. Clear warnings explain when a value exceeds the selected number size.
Choose from three percentage methods in Settings. Adjustment amounts help you see what was added or subtracted, alongside the result.
Work with powers, roots and scientific functions. Choose degrees or radians, and use degrees, minutes and seconds for angles.
Choose standard precedence or left-to-right arithmetic. Adjust rounding, scientific notation and trailing zeros to suit your working.
Hold Delete to erase several characters. Undo an edit, group terms in parentheses, or continue calculating from your previous answer.
Choose light or dark appearance and a keypad you can feel with each tap. Turn vibration off whenever you prefer.
Conversions and finance
Open More → Unit conversions to search 43 categories across everyday measurements, science and specialist tools. Keep favourite categories close at hand.
Search From and To units, swap direction, pin up to ten results and share the selected pair. Use fractions or supported compound inputs such as feet:inches and pounds:ounces. An all-units view provides more detail.
Compare daily reference rates, choose favourite currencies and pin up to ten results. Refresh when online or use the dated offline cache. These are reference values, not live trading quotes.
Convert cooking volumes and weights using named ingredient estimates. Fraction presets make recipe amounts quicker to enter. US, Imperial and metric/Australian measures are explicitly labelled; ingredient packing affects weight.
Enter a daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annual amount. Choose a 365-day, 366-day, 52-week or 360-day basis to see average equivalents.
Open More → Finance for savings projections with regular contributions, independent compounding schedules and deposits at the start or end of each period. Explore balance, contributions and interest in the interactive growth chart. Estimates exclude fees, tax and inflation.
Convert time zones at a chosen date, number formats and ASCII, or AWG wire gauges. Consult named shoe, clothing, hat and ring size guides; brand-specific sizes are references, not universal guarantees.
Layouts adapt from small iPhones to larger phones and iPads, in portrait and landscape. Larger-text support uses controlled scaling to keep controls usable. Results resize within readable limits. Open the full calculation view to read longer working and answers.
Export history to a readable JSON backup and restore it on another device. Notes, pins and each entry’s calculation settings travel with it. Existing entries stay intact when backups are merged.

Enter one-variable or paired data, with optional frequencies. Calculate averages, spread, quartiles and seven regression models, then estimate a y value from your fitted model.
Build fractions, mixed fractions, powers and indexed roots with a mathematical preview. Choose decimal, fraction, mixed-fraction or engineering results. Supported rational expressions can produce reduced exact fractions; other expressions show a decimal approximation.
Verify numerical comparisons between two expressions, save named variables locally and open your working in the calculator. Verify checks numerical values; it does not prove symbolic identities.

Calculations and unit conversions run on your device without an account. Currency rates need a connection to refresh; saved rates remain available offline with their date. The app is free to use and supported by banner advertising, with privacy choices where applicable. Banners sit in a dedicated area below your tools, separate from calculation controls. There are no full-screen ad breaks. Your calculation contents are not sent for ad targeting. Optional ad removal is available as a one-time in-app purchase. No subscription. The App Store displays your local price before purchase.
